StoryBird
Follow the link above to view the literacy tool I reviewed called Story Bird, which is a great visual interacting site to use in and out of the classroom.
  • Storybird is a wonderful easy to use interactive tool that can enhance communication about content area topics, with a plethera of art to aid in a students creativity. Take a look below at the storybird I created which could be an example of a creative writing lesson. In a Reading Language Arts classroom storybird allows students to use their knowledge, skills and insights as well as the ability to use reading, art and writing to learn. Students get to comment on and learn visually from each others work. I would recommend Storybird because it has the potential to enhance content area learning all over the curriculum in fun and unique ways for everyone.
